Aspenview Kennels is owned by Summer Westerbur & Troy Westerbur. We show our Amstaffs in AKC conformation, Rally, & Weight Pull.  We  breed occasionally.  Our American Staffordshire Terriers are OFA cardiac clear before being bred.  Heart problems such as sub-aortic stenosis occur  in our breed and need to be tested for.  We use a board certified cardiologist to perform our OFA cardiac exams (Dr. Julie Martin, DVM) .  All puppies will come from at least one ataxia clear parent. We breed to this standard.  If you are looking for a puppy, it should come from a breeder who health tests NO EXCEPTION.  Please go to www.akc.org to read why you should not buy a puppy from a petstore or newspaper breeder.
