Showing and breeding American Staffordshire Terriers is our hobby.  In the summers  we show and take the dogs boating on the weekends, which they love.  In the winters we spend a lot of time at the mountain snowboarding.  We got our first showdog (American Pit Bull Terrier) named Misty in 2000, and have been hooked since!  Although we love the American Pit Bull Terriers, we only breed American Staffordshire Terriers.  We only have a litter once every 1-2 years as we have many other things going on in our lives, as well as the fact that we screen our puppy buyers. 

Fighting BSL is a big part of our lives, as well as a heavy weight on our shoulders, since we live right in the middle of it all in Colorado.  We live an hour from Denver, where they kill APBT every day for no reason.  We want to encourage everyone to stand up and fight for your rights to own dogs, as they may soon be taken away, even if you own another breed.  We need unity not only with APBTs but every other breed if we are to take on the monster of BSL. 

We don't breed often, since we don't make a living raising dogs, we usually only breed when we wish to produce a new show prospect for ourselves. Many people don't realize that reputable breeders do NOT make money on their dogs. Even though we charge more than pups in the paper, we have so much more money into them that most of us lose money.  We test all of our dogs hearts by a board certified cardiologist and xray their hips for hip dysplasia. We also test for ataxia, and can assure you that all dogs will have at least one ataxia clear parent, so that we never produce an affected offspring.
